I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics from The European Center for Advanced Research in Economics and Statistics (ECARES) at the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2016. I received the European Doctorate mention for my stay at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra during the research phase of my Ph.D (three years). I completed my dissertation on the micro-level impact of civil war and illegal activities in developing countries under the supervision of Professor Philip Verwimp (ULB) and Marta Reynal-Querol (Pompeu Fabra University).

My primary research interests are in Development Economics, Political Economics, Agricultural Economics and Micro-econometrics.
